The MidAtlantic African American Homeschooling Cooperative (MAAH) was created to enable African American Homeschoolers in Delaware to connect and support one another in our homeschooling efforts. We welcome families who are interested in working alongside current members to provide a loving, culturally affirming, learning environment for all of our children.
As African American homeschool parents, we saw a need for an African-based cooperative in our area. Our co-op seeks to provide our children with a group where they can embrace their identity. We want our children to understand their uniqueness and embrace their greatness without feeling like an outsider. By joining MAAH, you and your children will have the opportunity to learn more about our culture in a safe and understanding environment and make long-lasting friendships with like-minded families.
Our Co-op is founded on active participation by member families. Our parents share the responsibility of planning interactive lessons and fun field trips for the group with the hopes that we can learn together and have fun together.
